About this event

Visit Fitzgerald Acres Alpaca Ranch on Saturday, October 24, noon–4 p.m. CDT (Tulsa time) for a free drop-in open house. Meet the alpacas, learn about shearing and fleece, and visit the farm store. Optional alpaca feed costs $1 per bowl; store purchases are separate. Children must stay with adults, and under-14s must be accompanied. The organizer states that attendance indicates acceptance of its liability waiver and release, linked on the event page. Wear footwear suitable for farm conditions; weather may cause cancellation.

Positively Tulsa tells the stories of a city with something to share. Tulsa is creative, neighborly, surprising, and always becoming—full of people building, cooking, creating, helping, restoring, celebrating, and finding new ways to make this place their own. We follow the good happening across the city, from local people and businesses to food, arts, events, neighborhoods, animals, and unexpected discoveries, so you can get to know Tulsa not just as a place on a map, but as a community with character, momentum, and plenty left to discover.
